He holds an MBA (Marketing), and MPH, is a member, Market Research Society (UK) and the Nigerian Market Research Association with over 25 years’ varied experience in managing consumer, social, and business-to-business research projects at the top level.
He has managed dozens of small to large-scale population-based projects with sample size up to 32, 000. Aside from leading team that conducted surveys for such media houses as Vanguard Newspapers, Businessday Newspapers, MiTV, NTA, Desmond was the consultant that pioneered the conducting of a pan-Nigeria quarterly media habits survey (covering electronic and print media) in key cities in Nigeria by Media Monitoring Services Nigeria Ltd.
Desmond has also coordinated and managed several market and social research projects for top-tier local and international clients.
Among key clients in the recent past include the Federal Ministry of Health, Society for Family Health, Johns Hopkins University Centre for Communications Programs, Baltimore, USA, the Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative, Malaria Consortium, Procter & Gamble Nigeria Limited, First City Monument Bank Plc., Mouka limited, and Nigerian Breweries Plc.
He is on the faculty of the Nigerian Market Research Association for their membership training programmes.
